The Northeast - Wilson Park Neighborhood is one of St. Cloud’s oldest neighborhoods dating back to the mid 1800’s. We are bordered by Sauk Rapids to the North, to East Saint Germain St. on the South, from Highway 10 on the East to the Mississippi River on the West.
Our neighborhood is home to Wilson Park on the East Shores of the Mississippi River. The park offers the Kaleidoscope Playground Project, picnic areas, horseshoe facilities, a softball field, tennis and volleyball courts and a boat launch. The park is also the finest off leash pet exercise areas (OLPEA) in St. Cloud.
We are also home to Val’s Hamburgers, the ACE Bar & Grill, Gopher Lumber and Supply, Handyman’s Hardware, the Somali Café, and the Dutchmaid Bakery.
The North East – Wilson Park Neighborhood Association
(a.k.a. NEWPNA) came into existence in March 2008 through the Initiative Foundation’s Healthy Neighborhoods Partnership Program. The program was devised to address issues relevant to ‘core’ neighborhoods in St. Cloud.
To preserve the character of the neighborhood, fostering community pride and a sense of place, where all neighbors can be their best selves.
